Admissions Process

To begin the application process, please submit your enquiry through the “Enrol Online

Before accessing the site, please read the following guidelines providing information for completing the online application process.

Step 1

The first part of the application will require:

  • Parent/Guardian’s name, Relationship to the applicant, Valid email address (your Enquiry reference number will be sent here), Contact number, Company
  • Submit the above information.

Step 2

An Lead has been created at this point but it is not yet complete You will be guided to provide next set of information regarding the applicant including

  • Applicant’s name, Applicant’s date of birth, Academic Year  being applied for, Current School
  • You may include siblings in this process.

Step 3

Once you have completed the entire application, you will receive another email informing you of the documents you required to submit online in order to complete the application. This email will also include your application number.

Please note that applications will not be considered if the following documents are not uploaded:

Documents required for Admission (Online Upload)

  • Sponsor's Emirates ID/Qatar ID (Both Sides)
  • Parent (Sponsor) Passport
  • Applicant's Photo
  • Applicant's Emirates ID/Qatar ID (Both Sides)
  • Applicant's Passport
  • Applicant's Immunization records
  • Applicant's Recent School/Nursery Report (at least 2 years is applicable. Attestations required from MOE/MOFA/UAE Embassy from transferred country for overseas admission)
  • Transfer Certificate (if applicable. Attestations required from MOE/MOFA/UAE Embassy from transferred country)
  • Birth Certificate (Attestations required from MOE/MOFA/UAE Embassy from transferred country)
  • Any learning support documents if available

* Please note: We will not be able to process your application if the   documents are not uploaded in pdf format.

An online application does not automatically guarantee your child a seat. The school has the right to reject applications if the documents are not complete.

In the case of overseas transfer, the Transfer Certificate and Report should also be duly attested by:

  • District Education Officer of the concerned district
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country from which migrating
  • UAE Embassy in the country from which migrating
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi

Step 4

As per the expected availabilities in the future, the admissions team will reach out to the parent via email or phone to invite the child for an assessment. After the assessment, the child will be placed on a waiting list and will be offered a seat once available. Additionally, if needed, your child may be referred for further specialist assessment by the school’s Inclusion Support Team. This is to determine whether any additional support is required to help your child access learning effectively.

Assessment tests

At Cambridge High School, our trained education team conducts assessment tests to ensure that our curriculum aligns with each child's unique needs and abilities. We are committed to an inclusive environment and do not discriminate based on nationality, ethnicity, gender, or any other characteristic.

FS2

For Applicants applying to FS2, the parent completes the online application and subject to expected future availability, the child meets with the CHS Academic team to asses the following and will be placed on the waiting list.

  • Independence in using the toilet
  • Ability to feed independently
  • Engagement in activities and ability to follow instructions
  • Development of fine and gross motor skills

Year 1 & Year 2

All applicants of Year 1 and Year 2 are assessed in basic literacy and numeracy skills with the academic team. Social, emotional and behavioural development will also be evaluated.

Year 3 to Year 10

All applicants of Year 3 to Year 10 are assessed with CAT4 tests. This evaluation helps us understand the child’s learning potential and areas of strength, which is crucial for placing them on the waiting list.

Year 11 to Year 13

All applicants of Year 11 to Year 13 the following will be evaluated:

  • A form will be sent to the parent which is required to filled out from the applicant’s current school which states their curriculum, board, and predicted grades.
  • Subject to availability and predicted grades, a seat may be offered.
  • Our entry requirement is a minimum of a B grade, and applicants must currently be enrolled in a British Curriculum school.
